The agent installation from the console fails and when scanning the machine the access is denied to the resources required. When checking access to the administrative share of the target, the access is also denied. No firewall blocks the access.
The most common root cause for the described above issues is the User Account Control settings preventing access to the administrative share.
- Open the registry editor on the target machine.
- Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System].
- Create a new DWORD named
- Set the DWORD value to "1".
Repeat the operation that was having issues and verify that the error no longer appears. If the issue persists, contact the Support Team.
