By default, LanGuard does not have significant versions enabled for scanning or remediation. This article describes how you can manage this.
Any Windows version.
New Feature Update or Service Pack to be released.
Check whether you have already enabled the Service Packs and Feature Packs for Microsoft Windows within LanGuard. In case you have not, you would not pick this up in the scans or be able to remediate them.
You can find the option under LanGuard Console > Configuration > Patch Auto-Deployment > Automatic Approval.
- If by any chance those are not yet enabled, please enable them, and you will have to re-run the scans for the Feature Update to be picked up.
Service Packs and Feature Packs Updates get picked up via remediation.
