Answer
GFI LanGuard uses Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for it's list of Microsoft updates/patches. WSUS is not the same as the Windows Update website that you can visit OR the Windows Update service (including Automatic Updates) that are installed on Windows Operating Systems. Updates available through Windows Updates may be different than the updates offered through WSUS. Generally, WSUS publishes the same updates/patches that Windows Update. However, WSUS is more conservative and is intended for domain IT departments to use. For some updates WSUS may not publish them right away. It may wait some time while evaluating data from the field (Windows Update installations) to ensure certain updates are safe. This usually for non-security updates only. Security updates are normally published at the same time.GFI publishes WSUS updates at the same time as Microsoft. The process of adding the new updates/patches is an automated process. You can check the following site to see if the updates/patches have been added: Supported Microsoft Bulletins
