The Troubleshooter wizard identified the issue "The scanning profiles database is not available".
This article describes how to diagnose and troubleshoot this issue.
Browse to the Shared Application Data folder where the scanning profiles database file operationprofile.mdb is located:
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GFI\LANguard 12on Windows 2003/XP machines
\ProgramData\GFI\LANguard 12on modern Windows OS
If the operationsprofiles.mdb is missing, and you just performed the LanGuard installation or an upgrade, the root cause for the issue above is that the database was not created during the deployment due to some third-party software blocking it. In this case, continue with the Fixing GFI LanGuard Broken Installation or Failed Upgrade article to fix the broken deployment.
In all other cases, the root cause is that due to environmental changes the file operationsprofiles.mdb became corrupted or has been deleted. Refer to the All Scanning Profiles are Missing Including the Default Profiles article for possible solutions.
Run the Troubleshooter tool again and verify that the database passed the checks. If the issue persists, contact the Support Team.
