The Remediation or Auto-Remediation jobs are running for a long time since the last scheduled scan triggered them, and their status in the LanGuard console is still 'Running' with no progress. In some cases, it appears that on the target computers the required patch has been actually deployed.
Such remediation job issues are occasionally reported when previous versions of the GFI LanGuard server apply recent patches. The recommended solution for this issue is Upgrading GFI LanGuard to the Latest Software Version.
As a temporary workaround, you can stop the remediation jobs stuck in the 'Running' state by following the article Stopping Remediation Job that is Already Running.
