Overview
Even though scans are scheduled to run every day, Agent Status on some computers shows that the last result received was days or months ago.
Solution
The most common reason for this issue is using an obsolete version of LanGuard for which the program updates and vulnerabilities definitions are no longer supported, or the Agent wasn't upgraded and is stuck on the old version.
- If you are not running the most recent LanGuard version, please Upgrade LanGuard to the Latest Software Version.
- Trigger Agent scan by right-clicking on the target machine in the network tree and selecting Scan > Refresh information now. The Agent will automatically run an update before the scan.
- If there are any errors in the scan results, resolved them with the help of our Knowledge Base.
- Verify the Agent status after the scan finishes without errors. If the last result received didn't change, Uninstall LanGuard Agent on the target machine and make a fresh Agent Deployment.
Testing
Rerun an Agent scan. If the issue persists, contact GFI LanGuard Support.
