Overview
There are several updates and patches that can be deployed on your machines, but LanGuard is not able to deploy patches because it fails to download these patches.
Solution
The common root causes for the patch download failures are items stuck in the patch download history or timeouts due to slow download speed.
- If your download speed is slow, LanGuard may be unable to download patches in time. In such cases, it is recommended to enable patch auto-download by following the Configuring Patch Auto-Deployment in GFI LanGuard for Missing Updates article so that patches will be downloaded by the time you are ready to remediate.
- Purge Patch Download History to ensure normal patch download operations.
- A missing patches scan on the target machines might be required to update the information and trigger the required patches download.
Testing
Repeat the failing remediation operation. If the issue persists, contact GFI LanGuard Support.
