Overview
You have installed the Central Management Server, and there is an issue with the LanGuard CMS Application pool - it is not running and turns off as soon as you try to run it.
Solution
CMS runs using Microsoft IIS, and the described problem can be caused by IIS settings or hosting issues, such as a conflict with another application already hosted on the IIS.
Verify the IIS application pool user credentials and permissions, and try changing the account to the same service account that is running the GFI LanGuard services to check if it solves the issue.
If the pool is still not starting, check the Windows Event logs for the errors happening when the Application pool fails and resolve any IIS errors found with your systems administrator's help and the third-party solutions from the internet.
While the LanGuard Central Management Server uses Microsoft IIS to run, we do not directly support troubleshooting IIS errors.
For example, SharePoint running on the same IIS is known to cause the error "The Module DLL 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\isapi\spnativerequestmodule.dll' could not be loaded due to a configuration problem.", see this thread for details.
Testing
Once any existing IIS issues and errors are resolved, restart the Application pool and the GFI LanGuard services. If the issue persists, contact GFI LanGuard Support.
