You may be wondering how to use the "Refresh information now" option in the Dashboard, and how it differs from performing a Full Scan.
The "Refresh information now" option can be accessed in the Dashboard by right-clicking on a computer on the left side of the Dashboard, under "Scan > Refresh information now".
If the selected machine has an Agent installed, an Agent scan will commence. The type of scan that will start depends on the Agent's configured Scanning Profile, and Full Scan is just one of those available Scanning Profile types.
If the selected machine doesn't have an Agent installed, a Full Scan will start instead.
