Overview
- You may be wondering why LanGuard does not detect individual Microsoft Office components (i.e. Outlook)
- Instead, LanGuard is detecting the whole of Microsoft Office as one entity.
Solution
This issue is likely related to the way Office is deployed. LanGuard reads several registry keys to confirm if apps are deployed individually or as a whole, using the click-to-run package.
If Office is installed as a whole, then its components are not registered individually, and LanGuard will display the Office installation as a single entity.
