You may notice that scans are failing on one or more machines. Error messages may refer to the credentials used, even if you are using the correct credentials. A few examples include:
- Access is denied
- wrong username or password
- Mac OS X tool 'softwareupdate' failed: 'Can't load data from the Software Update server (INBLCORVAPT02.quest-global.com). (0)
- SSH Timeout.
These errors may appear even when the credentials you are using are correct. This can happen when the target machine's OS is not supported by LanGuard. Please make sure that the target machine's OS is supported, as per the article What are the Supported features per operating system, application and device?.
