Do I need to uninstall LanGuard from the old server first so that the registration key will license the new server properly?

Overview

You currently have LanGuard running on an old Windows server and would like to migrate it to the new server, yet you are not sure how to correctly move the license.

 

Information

GFI LanGuard is licensed by the total number of scanned hosts, not by the number of servers where the license is used. Therefore you do not have to uninstall the old server first.
