Windows 11 23H2 Pro and Home – Security Updates Status
Microsoft has reached the end of security updates for Windows 11 version 23H2 (Pro and Home editions). As a third-party vendor, GFI depends on Microsoft’s update services to deliver operating system patches through GFI LanGuard. Once an OS version is no longer serviced by Microsoft, new security updates are no longer made available for that version.
What This Means

New Microsoft security updates are no longer released for Windows 11 23H2 Pro and Home.

As a result, GFI LanGuard will no longer receive new security patches to deploy for this version.

Existing functionality in LanGuard remains unchanged.
Recommended Action
To continue receiving Microsoft security updates and maintain full patch coverage with GFI LanGuard, GFI recommends upgrading affected systems to a supported Windows 11 version, such as Windows 11 24H2 onwards.
