Overview

You may wish to implement a patch window in GFI LanGuard. For example, if vulnerabilities of a certain severity (e.g. High) are detected, you may wish for this severity to be displayed as lower while the patch window is still in effect.

As described in the Calculation, Classification, and Meaning of the GFI LanGuard Vulnerability Levels article, the GFI LanGuard vulnerability Level is a rating assigned to each scanned computer.

The only way to delay this would be to avoid scanning the machines, however this is not advisable; delaying this scan means prevent LanGuard from scanning target computers and detecting vulnerabilities in your environment.
