Overview

You may have noticed that the Patch Repository designated folder is empty, and are wondering what could be causing this.

Information

The Patch Repository can be empty for three reasons:

1. You have not configured the Patch Auto Download directory to the expected folder. Please note that the default directory path for LanGuard is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\LanGuard 12\Repository\English
   
   
   
   
2. You have not enabled Patch Auto-Download. If you select the option: Only needed patches, then LanGuard will only download the required patches determined by previous scans.
   
   
3. LanGuard may not have write/read access to the designated folder. In that case, LanGuard will not be able to save the Patch and the remediation job will fail.
