LanGuard is unable to launch after I manually uninstalled agent

Overview

Agent scan on the LanGuard server itself stopped working properly, and you tried to reinstall it. After you uninstalled the agent from a command prompt, the LanGuard application is unable to launch.

 

Solution

The issue is expected since running the agent uninstall command on the LanGuard server itself breaks the installation, there is a red alert in the article.

To fix the problem:

  1. Follow the Fixing GFI LanGuard Broken Installation steps to repair the main installation.
  2. Run the languard12agent.msi file from the Temp folder or the C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\LanGuard 12\Agentfolder to install the Attendant service and required Agent files.
